Our Amazing Trip
to the Science Museum! ððŽ
Last Wednesday,
Grade 4 went on an exciting trip to the City Science Museum. We travelled there
by bus ð,
which took about 45 minutes. Everyone was chatting excitedly about what we
might see. When we arrived, our guide, Dr. Evans, met us at the entrance. She
told us the museum had five different floors, but we would focus on the ‘Space
Zone’ and the ‘Dino Discovery’ area today because we only had three hours for
our visit.
First, we visited
the Space Zone. It was incredible! There was a huge model of the solar system
hanging from the ceiling, and we even got to touch a real piece of a meteorite!
✨
Dr. Evans explained how astronauts live in space. After that, we had a quick
snack break near the museum cafe—the cookies ðŠ were delicious!
Then, we headed to
the Dino Discovery area. Seeing the giant dinosaur skeletons ðĶ was amazing. The
T-Rex skeleton was the most popular! We learned about how dinosaurs lived
millions of years ago. Before leaving, we had just enough time to visit the
museum shop. I bought a postcard with a picture of the T-Rex. The bus journey
back was much quieter as everyone was tired but happy after a fantastic day. ð
